Paul Savage started comedy in 2007. Since then he has performed all over Britain, from the highlands of Scotland to the bottom tip of Cornwall, and hundreds of places in between. In the 5 years he’s been going, he has performed over 800 gigs, including two runs at the Edinburgh Festival with the the Free Tea and Biscuits Show, which set a record for having the most genuinely homeless people in one audience front row (7).
Savage was also nominated for best full length debut show at the 2009 Leicester festival when he was in Unidentified Flying Improv, and was Juice Comedy clubs performer of the year 2009. He has also won West Midlands Comedy Awards- Most improved act 2009 and West Midlands Comedy Awards Best Joke 2009. He was robbed every other year. He is resident MC at gigs for 5 different promoters.
As well as performing comedy, he has also been part of two popular podcasts, been a guest on several radio stations (BBC Radio 4, Kerrang, Capital, BRMB, BBC Radio Stoke, Stafford FM and more), wrote a competition winning corporate training film, is compiling his first book of comic strips, is working on about 15 different half finished scripts, and makes his own fruit gin.
